Ishaq Dar Stresses Early Implementation of AJK Projects

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review and speed up development priorities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

The meeting discussed measures to ensure the timely implementation of development projects and other planned interventions in AJK.

Ishaq Dar stressed the need for early implementation so that these efforts bring visible improvements to the lives of the people of AJK.

He said the development and welfare of the people of AJK remains a key priority for Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Government of Pakistan and the AJK government.

The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Chief Secretary AJK, and senior officials from the AJK and federal governments.
