Parineeti Chopra Returns to Work After Motherhood With ‘Shaque’

Indian actress Parineeti Chopra after welcoming her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, politician Chadha is now preparing to return to full-time work.

Parineeti is making her acting comeback with upcoming Netflix show Shaque, which will also be her OTT debut. During the trailer launch event in Mumbai, the actress talk about returning to work after motherhood.

Parineeti said being a mother has not changed the kind of work she is presented. She said there is no filmmaker, director or writer made her feel that becoming a mother would hold back her career.

According to actress, people are now more open to seeing female actors continue their careers after having children, as motherhood not stop you to make more stories about women.

Hasee Toh Phasee actress also admiring fellow actress such as Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and her cousin Priyanka Chopra for staying active in their careers after embracing motherhood. She said their careers have given the idea of women balancing motherhood with successful careers.

The actress welcomed her first child in October and is now ready to begin a new chapter in her professional life. With Shaque, Parineeti is returning to acting while also taking her first step into the OTT space.
