Uzbek Media Delegation Briefed on Pakistan-Uzbekistan Relations

ISLAMABAD: An Uzbek media delegation visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a briefing on the latest developments in Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations.

The delegation is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan and Ambassador Hasan Ali Zaigham, Director General for Central Asia and Regional Cooperation and ECO, briefed the visiting delegation.

The briefing covered recent developments in bilateral ties and ongoing efforts to further strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

The officials highlighted initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and strengthening connectivity between the two countries.

Discussions also covered opportunities to expand economic and commercial links and improve regional connectivity.

The visit by the Uzbek media delegation is part of broader efforts to increase engagement and people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Both countries have continued to explore avenues for deeper cooperation in trade, transport and regional connectivity, with greater media interaction also contributing to public understanding of bilateral relations.
