Gold Price Falls Rs1,800 per Tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Wednesday in line with a fall in the international bullion market.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,800, reaching Rs453,936.

The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs1,544 to settle at Rs389,176.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $18 per ounce, reaching $4,314 per ounce.

The decline in global bullion prices was reflected in the domestic market, contributing to the fall in gold rates in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market.

The price of silver fell by Rs30 per tola, reaching Rs7,008 per tola.

The latest movement comes after gold prices had also recorded a decline in Pakistan in the previous trading session.
