Salman Khan Calls Out AI Deepfakes, Demands Strict Action Against Misuse

The superstar of Bollywood Salman Khan has raised voice against the increasing misuse of AI call out over deepkafe videos and the use of celebrities ‘voice and likenesses without consent. His latest comments followed his recent criticism of body shaming.

The 60-year-old actor and host returned to Bigg Boss 20’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode on September 27, where he addressed the issue of AI-generated content. Speaking to viewers, Salman criticised people who create fake videos using celebrities’ identities and called for stronger action against those responsible.

“Someone takes your AI voice, dubs it and abuses someone. They are making AI videos. It is happening with many people, and I am also there in AI videos,” Salman said. He further argued that such content would continue unless strict legal consequences were imposed on those creating it.

The episode also featured Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat, who appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film Drishyam: The Conclusion, scheduled to release on October 2.

Meanwhile, the show also witnessed its second eviction of the season, with Badshah’s former wife Isha Rikhi becoming the latest contestant to leave the Bigg Boss 20 house.

Bigg Boss 20 airs daily at 9pm on JioHotstar and 10:30pm on Colors TV.

On the film front, Salman’s Maatrubhumi, co-starring Chitrangda Singh, is still awaiting its release date. His upcoming pan-India film with Nayanthara, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and reportedly titled Monster, is currently targeting an Eid 2027 release.
