Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Dismiss Claims of Royal Family Apology

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to apologise to the royal family have been denied, contradicting reports that they want to reconcile with Prince William and Princess Catherine.

This starting week, according to Daily Express reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to forgiveness for the claims made during their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey as well as the debatable argument about distresses over the colour of their son Prince Archie’s skin.

However, representatives for Harry and Meghan reportedly dismissed the claims as “nonsense” while speaking to HELLO! Royal Editor Emily Nash.

Speaking on A Right Royal Podcast, Nash clarified that the couple were not necessarily refusing to apologise. However, she said the denial highlighted how difficult the situation between the royal family members remained.

The Daily Express report had claimed that the couple regretted parts of their Oprah interview and wanted a private meeting with William and Catherine to make amends. These claims have since been denied.

Harry has reportedly not reunited with his father, King Charles, or met with his older brother, Prince William, since returning to the UK in August with Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet.

So far, there has been no official confirmation of progress about reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royal family.
