US diplomat Angela Aggeler calls on Pakistan Army Chief today (Thursday).
The United States Charge dā Affaires to Pakistan met with Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
US diplomat Angela Aggeler calls on Pakistan Army Chief
She assured him of the U.S. continued assistance for common cause of peace in Afghan.
She met the COAS to discuss matters of mutual interest.
According to DG ISPR’s tweet, both discussed regional security situation and the peace process in Afghanistan.
Notably, the visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistanās contributions for conflict prevention in region.
Angela Aggeler further lauded relentless support which Pakistan provided in Afghan Peace Process.
The statement from Aggeler came amid Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to in Kabul today.
Meanwhile, reports had it PM Khan will hold talks with President Ashraf Ghani.
Most likely, he wouldĀ discuss the Afghan peace process during Kabul visit.
