Minister foresees completion of border fencing with Iran by end of 2021.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad expressed these views during his visit to Taftan border today (Saturday).

He further said the border fencing with Iran may complete by the end of this year.

The Interior Minister said that forty percent work on the fencing has so far been completed.

He further said that Pakistan government would ensure border management on modern lines with Iran and Afghanistan.

Sheikh Rashid said that all resources will be utilized for external security of the country.

Meanwhile, the Interior Minister also directed the authorities concerned to further improve facilities for the Zaireen.

On the other hand, Pakistan and Iran have formally reopened another border crossing.

However, as per reports, the third border crossing may also reopen shortly.
