British Chief of Defence Staff calls on COAS Gen Bajwa at GHQ today (Tuesday).

According to ISPR, Chief of Defence Staff United Kingdom Army General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter met with Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interests, including Afghan peace process.

Furthermore, they also discussed security and defence cooperation as well as evolving global geo-strategic environment.

Meanwhile, the visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region.

He also pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries.
