In his tweets today (Saturday), he said this was the greatest city in the world at the beginning of 15th century.

Imran Khan said he visited the tombs of Amir Temur and Imam Bukhari in this historic city.

Meanwhile, the PM termed Pakistan’s relationship with Uzbekistan as an exciting beginning of a journey of cooperation, bringing the two nations closer.

He expressed these views, while talking to Uzbek media in historic city of Bukhara.

He further said this is an exciting beginning and will lead people-to-people and trade and political relationship growing stronger.

The Prime Minister said the upcoming rail project among Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan would connect the people of the areas and boost development.

Moreover, Imran Khan and his delegation also visited the mausoleum of Hazrat Bahauddin Naqshband and offered fateha.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has conducted an official visit of Uzbekistan.

Pakistan, United States, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan have agreed to establish this platform with focus on enhancing regional connectivity.
