Archer included in England T20 World Cup squad

Pacer Jofra Archer returned after a lengthy spell on sidelines as defending champions England named 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

Archer made his last appearance for England back in March 2023, and since then he has been on a recovery road from an elbow injury.

Apart from him, experienced all-rounder Chris Jordan also secured his spot in the squad. He last played for England back in September 2023.

Jos Buttler will lead the defending champions with Will Jacks, Phil Salt and Jonny Bairstow among the top-order contenders.

Ben Duckett will lend some left-handed diversity to the squad along with veteran all-rounder Moeen Ali.
