Army Chief says Pakistan values its relations with European Union (EU).

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed these views on Tuesday.

He had a Video Call with Chairman European Union Military Committee (EUMC) General Claudio Graziano,

According to ISPR, he said Pakistan valued its relations with European Union (EU).

Furthermore, Pakistan is earnestly looking forward to enhance mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests.

During the call, matters of mutual interests and regional security situation came under discussion

They discussed recent developments in Afghan Peace Process and enhanced bilateral cooperation with European Union (EU).

Moreover, the dignitary also appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional peace and stability especially the Afghan Peace Process.

Meanwhile, both the dignitaries pledged to play their role for further improvement in cooperation at all levels.

On the other hand, President Dr Arif Alvi said India has always been playing a spoiler’s role in Afghanistan.

While speaking to a private TV channel programme, he said India wants to create misunderstanding about Pakistan in that country.

However, he underlined peace and stability in Afghanistan vital for regional stability.

The President said Pakistan would especially immensely benefit from it.

He expressed hope that all Afghan parties would peacefully resolve their issues with consensus and through peaceful means.
