Indian police arrest man who shot Baba Siddiqui

Shiv Kumar, the main suspect in the shooting of the late Baba Siddiqui, the former minister of the Indian state of Maharashtra, has been arrested.
According to Indian media reports, Shiv Kumar, the accused who shot Baba Siddiqui, has been arrested from the state of Uttar Pradesh and during interrogation he has confessed to being associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The reports said shooter Shiv Kumar was on the run after Baba Siddiqui’s murder and was trying to escape to Nepal. However, during a police operation in Uttar Pradesh Shiv Kumar was nabbed.
Apart from Shiv Kumar, the India police have also taken into custody four more accused. Now, the number of arrested accused involved in Baba Siddiqui’s murder has jumped to 23.
During investigation, Shiv Kumar revealed that ‘9.9mm pistol was used to kill Baba Siddiqui. He added that Baba Siddiqui was killed on the request of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi.
Earlier, in a statement issued by the Mumbai Police, it was stated that before shooting Baba Siddiqui, shooter   was in contact with Anmol Bishnoi, who used Snapchat to communicate with the accused.
