Bollywood Stars Support Rajpal Yadav In Cheque Bounce Case

Actor Rajpal Yadav last week surrendered at Delhi’s Tihar Jail following a court order in a cheque bounce case.

The film industry and political figures have stepped forward to support actor-comedian Rajpal Yadav after he surrendered before Tihar jail authorities in connections with multiple cheque-bounce cases linked the failure of his 2010 directorial Ata Pata Laapata.

The Dhol Actor was sent to tIhar jail after Dehli High Court rejected his Plea seeking additional time to repay outstanding dues amounting to nearly Rs 9 crore.

Amid the ongoing financial troubles, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary and Anees Bazmee have lent their support. Now, the new report claims that actors like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and others have also come forward to help Yadav.

Recently, Rajpal Yadav’s manager Goldie reported that some well-known celebrities’ names have come forward to help. He spoke, “A lot of people have reached out to help Rajpal Yadav. Actors like Sonu Sood, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgn have extended their support. I was just on a call with David Dhawan—he too reached out. Ratan Nain, Varun Dhawan…many people are coming forward to help him this time, which Rajpal has deeply appreciated.”

More, he added, it should be appreciated that, the Bollywood industry stood behind Rajpal like a rock, along with that her he also highlighted that everyone has the commitment, but ‘such transactions don’t happen overnight’.

During interview, Goldie also hoped that Chup Chup Kay actor could be released soon. The hearing is tomorrow, February 2026 and application for bail has already been filed. “We have his bail hearing scheduled for tomorrow, and we are hopeful that he will be granted bail and released. The bail application has already been filed. We will be able to share more details after the hearing tomorrow.” Said by Yadav’s Manager.

Not only Sonu Sood, and other prominent personalities, such as Rao Inderjeet Yadav music director unveiled his contribution amount 1.11 crore, although politician Tej Pratap Yadav will give Rs 11 lakh, and KRK said he would contribute Rs 10 lakh.
