Celebrities Call for Action as 11 Pakistanis Held by Somali Hijackers

The heartbreaking news went viral, Pakistanis have earlier been victims to Somali hijackers in the sea, almost 11 Pakistani nationals are among the crew members taken hostage after a suspected pirate attack on an oil tanker in international waters near Somalia.

A voice note, from one of the crew members to his father is going viral now, it is heartbreaking and it is equally shocking to hear. The member called his father and said that this may be his last message as pirates are taking them to kill. He broke into tears as he requested his father to take care of his wife and children. The voice note has shocked the nation are feeling sad for the affected families.

Our Pakistani celebrities raise voices and urging the government to take action to ensure their safety.

Hania Amir took her Instagram and shared a story and requesting government to take some action and wrote, ‘There are 10 Pakistanis on board. 10 sons of this country who left their homes and went to the waters to provide for their families. 10 families who are and requesting government to take some action’

Rapper Talha Anjum has stated his concern over the captured of 11 Pakistanis by Somali pirates a week ago. He exposed that he personally knows one of the victims and urged the government to take immediate action to ensure their safe recovery, adding that the families of those abducted are going through immense trauma.
