Pakistan Idol Season 2 Ends with Hira Qaiser Taking the Crown

Pakistan Idol came to an exciting end on Sunday with a grand finale filled with music, lights and celebrations. Faisalabad’s Hira Qaiser won the title and became the new Pakistan Idol.

Hira, a middle-class girl from Faisalabad, got admiration from both the judges and audience for her performances during the competition. She said Allah’s blessings and her family’s prayers played a major role in her success.

The winner was announced during the grand “Super Finale” on Sunday night. Hira said she was tremendously glad and start it difficult to define the emotion of winning the competition.

Hira said Geo News that the prayers and backing of her family played an important role in her success. She believed she hoped the win would open new openings and help her grasp her goals.

The finale was screened at cinemas in Karachi and Faisalabad, giving fans a chance to experience the event on the big screen.

The evening turn into even more electrifying with the special presence of Atif Aslam. The internationally known singer was invited as the show’s “Super Icon” by sponsor Sooper Biscuits and gave a special performance for the audience.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bilal Maqsood and Zeb Bangash also performed during the finale and received a warm response from the audience. The judges, including Fawad Khan, Zeb Bangash, Bilal Maqsood and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, also shared their thoughts on the finalists’ performances.

Hira Qaiser received the Pakistan Idol shield along with a cash prize of Rs1.5 million. The other seven finalists were also given shields and Rs500,000 each.

Several well-known artists attended the finale screening in Karachi, including singer and music writer Shuja Haider, actor Misbah Khalid, musician Bilal Maqsood, Nazeer Hussain, Ayesha Jahanzeb, Kehkashan Faisal, Sara Mahmood and Zeeshan Chaudhry.

Badr Ikram, the producer of Pakistan Idol, was also present at the event. Speaking to Geo News, he said the team had worked hard to find Pakistan’s next great voice.

He also revealed that Season 3 of Pakistan Idol is coming soon and promised that the next season would bring even more entertainment for viewers.
