FM vows Pakistan will continue to support Palestinians struggle.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continue its support to the struggle of oppressed Palestinians for their right to self-determination.

He said this, while talking to President of the UN Security Council, Zhang Jun in New York today (Saturday).

He further said ceasefire announcement is the first successful step of our diplomatic efforts.

Moreover, he said the OIC Foreign Ministers, in the speeches at UN General Assembly, raised effective voices about Israeli aggression against unarmed Palestinians. Besides, OIC FMs sensitized the world on this rising issue.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan and China have similar stance on the issues of Palestine and Kashmir.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the changing world public opinion will force Israel to grant equal rights to the oppressed Palestinian people.

He stated this in a video message he released to express solidarity with the people of Palestine against Israeli aggression.

Ashrafi talks to Arab media

Meanwhile, Special Representative on Religious Harmony Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said the government will extend every possible cooperation for the reconstruction of Gaza.

He said this, while talking to the Arab media.

He further said Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi represented the aspirations of not only Pakistani nation but the entire Muslim Ummah on Palestine issue.

Ashrafi said the Muslim countries including Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey will have to get united on Kashmir and Palestine disputes.
