Indian actress found dead after WhatsApp message

Indian actor Amrita Pandey was found dead at her resident in Bhagalpur, Bihar after a cryptic message on her WhatsApp status.

Police suspect that she died by suicide.

Her body was found on April 27 at her home in Bihar, according to NDTV. Although no suicide note was recovered by the authorities,

However, Pandey’s mysterious WhatsApp status before her passing raised concerns.

“Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya” (His/her life was sailing on two boats, I made their journey easy by sinking mine), read the message.

Her family revealed that she had been battling depression and stress due to a lack of work.

She resided in Mumbai with her husband Chandramani Jhangad, who is an animation engineer. The duo went to Bhagalpur to attend her husband’s sister wedding.

However, he returned on April 18, but she opted to stay back.

She even posted good wishes for her sister and brother-in-law on social media platform Instagram, quoting, “Congratulations you both, wish you a happy married life.” Five days before her death, she shared a picture of herself dressed in a wedding outfit.

Her followers expressed shock and disbelief upon learning about her tragic demise.

Amrita Pandey had acted co-stared with Khesari Lal Yadav in the film “Deewanapan” and had also appeared in Hindi movies, TV shows, and web series.
