Minister announces Quetta Taftan railway track closure

Minister announces Quetta Taftan railway track closure following some cases of coronavirus in Iran.

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed made this has announcement in a video message today.

According to Radio Pakistan, he said all the four trains plying between Quetta and Taftan will remain suspended until the closure of Quetta-Taftan border.

The Minister has asked the passengers to take back their booked luggage and other things.

But, video message has not given Coronavirus as a reason. Instead, the minister said that track would remain closed until the reopening of Taftan border crossing.
