Pakistan leadership review progress on measures against Covid19 spread.

According to the latest reports, a meeting of National Coordination Committee on Coronavirus is in progress in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is presiding over the meeting.
On the other hand, a sub-committee of the parliamentary committee on coronavirus holds its first meeting at the parliament house in Islamabad today.
Senator Azam Khan Swati chairs the meeting while the sub-committee framing the TORs of the parliamentary committee.
It will also review the draft rules and regulations of the parliamentary committee.
Meanwhile, National Command and Operation Center officials also held a meeting in Islamabad. 
 Minister for Planning Asad Umar chaired it. 
They discussed future course of action against coronavirus.
  
The meeting also discussed digital tracking and tracing mechanism for identification of hotspots, clusters to isolate targeted areas, containment efforts in affected areas.
Moreover, they discussed supply chain support and enhancing testing capacity from present six thousand per day to twenty thousand per day.
The meeting also thrashed out youth participation in relief efforts and Ehsaas Program.
Participants of the meeting wants to ensure disbursement of Rs150 billion amongst the deserving families fairly.
Earlier, Pakistan government has confirmed 58 deaths due to Coronavirus while total rises to 4072 cases.
According to official sources, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country have reached to 4,072.
These include 2,030 cases in Punjab, 986 in Sindh and 527 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 527.

Moreover, Balochistan confirmed cases rose to 206, Gilgit-Baltistan 212, Islamabad Capital Territory 92 and Azad Kashmir 19.
According to National Command and Operation Centre this morning (8:10am), 208 new coronavirus cases detected during the last 24 hours.
Fifty-eight people have died of coronavirus since its outbreak in Pakistan.
As per province-wise details, 18 deaths reported in Sindh, 16 in Punjab, 18 in KP while 2 in Balochistan.
Three people died in in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
However, 467 people have been recovered.
1,339 COVID patients were hospitalized and 25 of them are in critical condition.
The government has also enhanced testing facilities.
