Murad Saeed emphasized this, while speaking in reaction to the opposition members motion in the Senate on Friday.

Minister for Communications Murad Saeed asked the opposition not to misuse the forum of parliament.

Furthermore, he said that the Prime Minister made it clear that he would never give NRO to those who looted the national exchequer.

He said the opposition had proposed amendments in 34 of the 38 provisions of the NAB Act.

Murad accused the opposition of seeking closure of the cases against them through such amendments

He also condemned the remarks of JUIF leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri against the media.

Meanwhile, Leader of the House Senator Shehzad Waseem also spoke.

He said that PTI government believes in accountability across the board.

He said people of Pakistan have rejected politics of inheritance at the PDM’s public gathering in Lahore.

Senator Shehzad Waseem said the PDM only wants to secure NRO from the government to protect their looted money.

Meanwhile, the Opposition parties leaders also expressed their views.

Opposition slams the govt

Leader of the Opposition Raja Zafar-ul Haq alleged that the NAB is victimizing the political opponents of the government.

Speaking on the occasion, JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said the media is doing character assassination of opposition leaders at the behest of government.

Moreover, PML-N leader Senator Javed Abbasi criticized the government for using NAB as a tool to pressurize the opposition.

Besides, PPP Senator Keshoo Bai said the government has no time for the poor people of the country.

Those others participated in the discussion included Senator Usman Khan Kakar, Mir Kabeer Ahmed Muhammad Shahi and Mohsin Aziz.

The House will now meet again on Monday at 3pm.
