According to ISPR, a soldier of Pakistan Army on Saturday embraced martyrdom.

However, security forces gunned down two terrorists during that intelligence based operation (IBO).

They conducted operation in North Waziristan late last night.

As per the military’s media wing’s statement, the Security Forces conducted an IBO on terrorist hideout in MalikKhel.

During intense exchange of fire, two terrorists lost lives.

Security forces identified one of them as a terrorist commander Rehmat alias Khalid.

Meanwhile, Havaldar Shehzad Raza embraced shahadat during exchange of fire while fighting the terrorists.

The ISPR further stated that the terrorist Rehmat alias Khalid was an improvised explosive device (IED) expert.

He remained involved in different terrorist activities against Security Forces, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and target killing since 2009 in the area.

During search operation Security Forces also seized huge cache of weapons.
