Pakistan Navy bilateral exercises with Russian and Sri Lankan Navy ships held after culmination of Exercise AMAN 2021.
The Ships ALAMGIR and ASLAT of Pakistan Navy have conducted bilateral Exercise ARABIAN MONSOON 2021.

It held with the ships of Russian Federation Navy, ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH and DMITRIY ROGACHOV in North Arabian Sea.
Besides, Pakistan Navy Ship ZULFIQUAR also conducted bilateral Exercise LION STAR-II with Sri Lankan Navy Ship GAJABAHU.
Pakistan Navy fixed and rotary wing aircraft and Pakistan Air Force Fighters participated in the exercises, said a Pakistan Navy press release.
The exercises included Anti-Surface, Anti-Air Warfare, Manoeuvring and Communication serials.
Bilateral exercises ARABIAN MONSOON 2021 and LION STAR-II were conducted to further enhance the cooperation and interoperability with navies of Russian Federation and Sri Lanka respectively.
The current engagements were testimony of Pakistan Navy’s resolve to work towards regional peace and maintain close relations with all friendly navies.
The exercises proved mutually rewarding to hone professional skills and learn from each other’s experiences.
ATATURK-XI 2021
Meanwhile, the three-week long Pakistan-Turkey joint military exercise “ATATURK-XI 2021” concluded.
According to a statement of the Armed Forces media wing, it concluded at Terbela Saturday.
The troops from Turkish Special forces and Pakistan’s Special Service Group (SSG) participated in the exercise.
The exercise lasted for three weeks with focus on Counter Terrorism operations.
CTOs included Cordon and Search techniques, Built-up Area clearance drills with Combat Aviation support, Hostage Rescue.
Moreover, it included: Free Fall by Para Troopers and Martial arts were also practiced during the training.
Inspector General Training and Evaluation Lieutenant General Syed Muhammad Adnan witnessed the closing ceremony as chief guest.
A high level military delegation from Turkey headed by Major General Emre Tayanc also attended the closing ceremony.
