Prime Minister Imran Khan directed, while chairing a meeting regarding tax reforms in Islamabad on Friday.

He advised to reform and structuring the tax regime in such a way that facilitate businesses.

Besides it should also help the economy to grow.

The Prime Minister further said the tax reforms aim to make tax code simple and plug existing loopholes in the system.

He said the tax reforms also aim at reducing discretionary powers of tax collectors and tax practitioners.

Moreover, the reforms aim at introducing automation to ensure transparency of tax system.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister directed to especially focus on the issue of flying invoices.
