President Arif Alvi and the First Lady receive COVID 19 vaccine in Islamabad today.
Dr Arif Alvi and First Lady Samina Alvi received shots of COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Meanwhile, President Alvi also spoke on the occasion.

He said the vaccine is being administered to senior citizens in Pakistan as per age categories.
Furthermore, he said the government has introduced an easy and the best mechanism to avoid long queues.
The President advised to continue precautionary measures even after the vaccination.
Meanwhile, 13,537 people have died due to Coronavirus so far in Pakistan.
Among them 29 deaths reported in the country during the last 24 hours.
According to the NCOC, the country now has 22,038 active cases of the pandemic.
According to the fresh statistics, 2,253 new positive cases reported in the last 24 hours.
571,878 patients stand recovered from the pandemic.

On the other hand, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar spoke on the issue.
He said the third wave of coronavirus is more lethal as compared to previous as its mortality rate is also higher.
While talking to a private news channel, he said the vaccination registration for people aged 50 or above would open in coming 10 days.
The Minister said those who are 60 or above must get registered their names for vaccination because coronavirus can hit them easily.
Asad Umar said the government has placed order for COVID-19 vaccine to a company for 30 million people of the country.
However, the government would receive the first batch of vaccine during the current month or next.
