Karachi – The Pakistan Navy successfully conducted a two-day Port Security and Harbor Defence Exercise at Karachi and Port Qasim, aimed at strengthening maritime security and protecting critical naval infrastructure.
The exercise involved participation from the Pakistan Navy’s Coastal Command, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Karachi Port Trust, and other law enforcement agencies.
The main objective of the drill was to ensure timely detection, prevention, and effective response to potential threats to maritime installations.
The exercise was based on various scenarios designed to test the preparedness and joint response capabilities of all participating organizations.
Special focus was given to improving communication systems, situational awareness, and enhancing command and control coordination among agencies.
This exercise highlights the Pakistan Navy’s commitment, along with other stakeholders, to safeguarding maritime assets and ensuring uninterrupted commercial operations.
