Quetta Blast Targets Civilians, 14 Dead

According to Assistant Chief Minister Balochistan Shahid Rind. The death toll in the Chaman Phatak blast in Quetta has risen to 14.

As per Shahid Rana confirmation three Frontier Corps (FC) members were also martyred., and also said, among the injured, women and children are included, who currently getting medical care at the nearby hospital.

Shahid Rind said, an innocent and unarmed civilians were targeted in the attack, and described it as a “cowardly act”, committed by forces to disrupt peace in the area.

He said that attacks on public areas show the terrorists’ panic and desperation.

After the incident, instantly forces stud down the area, and a search operation was started. At the site, evidence collection process has begun, with an official enquiry now in progress.

Authorities stated that, they are taking all necessary actions to trace those behind the incident and hold them accountable. The government has pledged to uphold peace and protect the people of the province.
