Leaked audio call exposes banned Joint Action Committee’s alleged disruptive activities
AZAD KASHMIR: The banned Joint Action Committee has reportedly been involved in disruptive activities, with its role becoming increasingly clear in Azad Jammu and Kashmir over recent days.
According to reports, the group is accused of enforced strikes, road blockades, vandalism of public and private property, and attacks on law enforcement personnel in various cities of AJK.
A leaked audio call between alleged leaders of the banned committee, Advocate Shah Nawaz and Majid Ali, has now surfaced, showing discussions about planning unrest.
In the audio, both individuals can allegedly be heard discussing plans to block roads and even hospitals, as well as strategies to further worsen the situation on the ground.
They are also heard allegedly plotting ways to intimidate law enforcement agencies and encouraging the use of provocative slogans to incite public unrest.
The audio further suggests instructions to discourage voluntary arrests and to push individuals toward anti-state activities.
Experts say that due to these illegal activities, people in Azad Kashmir are now becoming aware of the group’s real intentions. They also note that public opinion is increasingly supportive of government actions taken against the banned organization.
