Kashmir Activist Raja Amjad Ali Khan Leaves Joint Public Action Committee
Joint Public Action Committee member Core Committee Raja Amjad Ali Khan Advocate announced his disassociation from the organization.
In his video statement, Raja Amjad Ali Khan said that the peaceful movement that was started to resolve public issues was diverted and used to harm relations between Pakistan and Kashmir.
He said that innocent youth of Azad Kashmir were sent to jails while behind the scenes deals were made. He said that the youth of Azad Kashmir should not sacrifice their future for such activities and return to positive politics.
Raja Amjad Ali Khan clarified that he has no connection with any voice or any nationalist organization against Pakistan. He said that other members are also announcing their disassociation from the anarchic committee that is spreading chaos and unrest on external signals.
He appealed to the people of Azad Kashmir not to be influenced by the propaganda and misleading narrative of mischievous elements as these activities have no connection with the public interest.
According to experts, Raja Amjad Ali Khan’s detachment is a big blow to the Joint Public Action Committee. They say that Raja Amjad Ali Khan was considered one of the important leaders of the movement and his separation may cause the committee to face difficulties at the legal and organizational levels.
