PM Shehbaz Departs for Qatar to Pay Condolences on Former Emir's Passing
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left Islamabad on a one-day visit to Qatar, where he will meet Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and offer condolences on the death of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar are accompanying the prime minister on the visit.
During his stay in Doha, Prime Minister Shehbaz will meet the Emir of Qatar and express condolences to Sheikh Tamim, the Qatari Royal Family, and the people of Qatar over the passing of the former Emir.
The visit reflects the long-standing friendly and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar, as well as the close relationship between the two countries and their people.
