Prime Minister meets GDA chief Pir Pagaro amid strained coalition ties.
Imran Khan met the chief of Grand Democratic Alliance Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi (Pir Pagaro) during his Karachi visit Monday.
The meeting held at the Pagaro’s Kingri House.
Prime Minister meets GDA chief
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Federal Ministers Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Asad Umar, Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Faisal Vawda and Mohammedmian Soomro accompanied Prime Minister.
The government sources claimed that the GDA chief reposed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

However, Pir Pagaro had earlier made public his resentment over some unresolved public complaints.
Insiders disclosed that he shared his grievances with Governor Imran Ismail.
He said GDA also needs to keep promises they made to voters in rural Sindh. He said that the PTI coalition government must not forget its partner GDA.
GDA also stays dissatisfied
Coalition partner GDA also stays dissatisfied with the ruling PTI while MQM made public their differences.
Like minded parties and individuals formed Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) to challenge Pakistan Peoples Party in its stronghold in Sindh.
Since Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf formed a coalition government at the Centre, PPP continues to rule Sindh province.
However, PTI and GDA entered into coalition partnership to form federal government.
After MQM’s public disagreement, GDA spokesman Sardar Rahim came out to remind the PTI of GDA’s reservations.
He said GDA’s reservations remain in place.
He further said that GDA demanded development projects and employment for Sindh.
However, Sardar Rahim said GDA had given the PTI-led govt some time to address these grievances.
If not met, the alliance too would have to decide future course of action.
