Raisi’s fulfilled promise hailed from Tehran to Toronto

Following the unprecedented Iran airstrikes against Israel, people have taken to the streets in various cities across the world to celebrate Tehran’s decisive retaliation against the Tel Aviv.

It is to be mentioned here that Iran is a peace loving and responsible state and had been showing restraint after the Israeli attack on its embassy in Syria.

Being an Islamic state, the country also believes in no aggression without issuing a warning to the enemy.

In the case of latest airstrikes too, Iran has issued warning to Israel about couple of weeks before its planned.

Earlier this month, Israeli air strikes had destroyed the Iranian embassy’s consular annex in Damascus. As a result, a top Revolutionary Guard commander among seven members of the force were martyred.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps named Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and another high-ranking officer, Brigadier General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, as among seven of its members martyred.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 11 people, including several Guards members, were martyred when Israeli missiles destroyed a building of an annex to the Iranian Embassy.

Later, Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi had strongly condemned Israel’s attack on consular annex in Damascus.

Today, President Ebrahim Raisi has translated his words into action and gave a promised befitting answer to coward enemy.

President Raisi’s action of launching unprecedented strikes against Israel is widely welcomed not only inside Iran abut from Tehran to Toronto.

Shortly after the airstrikes, people of Tehran took to the streets at Palestine Square and in front of the University of Tehran in the capital. The jubilant Iranians waved national flags and chanted slogans in support of the Corps and President Raisi.

Similarly, demonstrations were also held in other Iranian cities including in front of Imam Reza’s Shrine in the holy city of Mashhad. People denounced the Israeli regime’s aggression against Iran.

Meanwhile, massive rallies were also organised on the compound of al-Aqsa Mosque’s compound in al-Quds, where Palestinians celebrated Iran’s retaliation against Israel.

Also, people rallied in Toronto and hailed Iran’s retaliatory strikes, lighting up firecrackers, and waving balloons.

Earlier, Iran late on Saturday launched an air attack on Israel with over 300 drones and missiles, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed.

The IRGC said the action was taken under the operation “True Promise”, adding that the move was part of the punishment for “Israeli crimes”.

Sirens sounded in many places and blasts heard in the skies above Jerusalem early on Sunday, international media reported as Iran’s proxies and allies carried out coordinated attacks on Israeli positions.

Israel said the drones would take several hours before reaching its airspace.

The attack come nearly two weeks after Israel attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria leaving seven IRGC members dead.

“We launched an operation using drones and missiles in response to the Zionist entity’s crime of targeting the Iranian consulate in Syria,” the IRGC said in a statement.

“The operation was carried out with dozens of missiles and drones to strike specific targets in the occupied territories.”
