Babar on verger of breaking several T20I records

Pakistan T20I captain Babar Azam is poised set to break multiple T20I records when his side will face Ireland and England in upcoming series.

It is not just about batting record that he is going to overtake, but also as a leader.

For starters, he is just one victory away to become the most successful T20I captain, overtaking the record held by Brian Masaba from Uganda, who boasts 44 wins as captain.

Babar is currently tied with Masaba with 44 wins as captain.

Brian Masaba: 44 (56)

Asghar Afghan: 42 (52)

Eoin Morgan: 42 (72)

Moreover, he is also set to become the most caped captain when Pakistan will take on Ireland on May 10.

He is currently tied with Australia legend Aaron Finch for captaining his nation in the most T20Is in history, with 76 matches.

Apart from that, Babar is closing in on becoming the first Pakistan batter to cross the 4000-run mark in T20I cricket.

He has so far scored 3,823 runs and trails behind Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Moreover, he is just 215 runs away to become the leading runs getter in the T20I cricket as well. The record in currently being held by India great Virat Kohli.
