Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially launched the Ramadan Relief Package 2025, allocating Rs 20 billion to provide financial assistance to 4 million deserving families across Pakistan. Under this initiative, eligible individuals will receive Rs 5,000 through digital wallets, ensuring efficient and transparent distribution of aid.
The announcement was made during a ceremony in Islamabad, where the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting citizens during the holy month. He emphasized that the relief package would be extended to beneficiaries in all four provinces, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.
“This year, we have allocated Rs 20 billion for Ramadan relief, a significant increase from last year’s Rs 7 billion,” PM Shehbaz stated.
8070 Ramadan Relief Package 2025 – Key Features
The relief package provides two types of support:
Cash Assistance – Eligible families will receive Rs 10,000 to help with essential expenses.
Discounted Rations – Beneficiaries can avail subsidized rates on basic food items.
Eligibility Criteria & Application Process
To apply for the 8070 Ramadan Relief Package, applicants must:
Possess a valid CNIC
Be registered under the BISP or Ehsaas Program
Not be receiving aid from any other government relief program
How to Apply?
Online Registration – Visit the PSER portal, enter your CNIC and phone number, and complete the registration form.
SMS Registration – Send your CNIC number to 8070 to check eligibility and receive further instructions.
This initiative aims to ease financial burdens and provide essential support to low-income families during Ramadan. Citizens are encouraged to apply early to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
