Rana Sanaullah calls on PTI to return to Parliament

17 October, 2022 15:15

The federal government has advised the PTI to return to Parliament and have table talk on the demand for early elections. But, it warned the PTI of a “befitting reply” if it marched towards Islamabad with an aim to dislodge the coalition government.

“This is will the last time the PTI will be marching towards Islamabad,” Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday. “Electoral victory is not a license to storm Islamabad. We are all set for it.”

The PTI has announced that it would begin its “long march” towards Islamabad and oust the incumbent government, which they believe was “imported”. Imran has already advised party workers to ready all preparations for the protest. He also took oaths from party members in Punjab.

He stressed that Parliament was for everyone, reiterating that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had earlier made a similar offer to Imran for improving the economic situation of the country.

Sanaullah was of the view that the PTI’s form of politics to “spread hate and lead a mob” was not good for the country’s politics and economic situation. “If PTI wants to continue it and the people accept it then they should get ready for the response.”
