Shaheen Shah Afridi completes HBL PSL milestone

Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has registered his name in the record books during the clash against Islamabad United.

Qalandars, who were already eliminated from the tournament, finally broke the jinx and registered their maiden victory in the season nine after seven games.

That wasn’t the only thing to celebrate if you are a Qalandars’ fans, as captain Shaheen also reached a milestone in the tournament.

He has now picked 100 wickets in the tournament. He is the third bowler in the HBL PSL history to achieve this feat.

Shaheeen accomplished this feat by dismissing Naseem Shah during at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Pakistan chief selector Wahab Riaz was the first bowler to cross the 100 wickets landmark in HBL PSL history. With 113 slaps to his name, Wahab is also the all-time leading wicket-taker in the league.

Hasan Ali, who also reached the same feat this season, is second on the list with a total of 107 wickets.

Shadab Khan is fourth in the list with 87 wickets to his name.
