Pakistan arrive in New York for India clash

The Pakistan Cricket team has arrived in New York for the highly-anticipated T20 World Cup clash against arch-rivals India on 9^th June.

“The team, led by captain Babar Azam, was warmly received by Consul General Aamer Ahmad Atozai,” PTV News posted on X.

The team was received by Consul general of Pakistan Aamer Ahmad Atozai in New York.

“Your encouragement and presence will undoubtedly boost the morale of our players and inspire them to achieve great success,” Atozai said, wishing the team a “successful and memorable tournament.”

It is worth mentioning here that, Pakistan suffered a shocking defeat against co-hosts the United States in the opening match of the tournament.

The mega clash is scheduled for June 9 at 7:30pm PKT at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
