Giant cargo drone successfully tested in China

China has tested a giant cargo drone that is believed to be able to fly carrying weight upto a ton.
According to the announcement, this drone named ‘CH-YH1000’ has passed the ‘full load taxing test’.
The footage released showed a yellow drone landing on a runway without a pilot. This drone is shaped like a passenger plane with two spread wings and a tail.
The drone has two small propellers mounted on the front and three wheels in a triangular formation.
In this experiment, the wheels were not seen to lift off the runway, but the purpose of the initial test was to ensure that the drone could taxi easily.
This over-sized drone will be used to transport large amounts of cargo, which is why it has been dubbed the ‘aerial pickup truck’.
