PM Shehbaz Sharif Urges Restraint Amid Gulf Tensions During Meeting with Iranian Interior Minister

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Iranian Interior Minister Iskandar Momeni at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad and expressed deep concern over the recent tensions in the Gulf region. The two sides discussed regional developments and matters of mutual interest during the meeting.

The Prime Minister urged all parties to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could further destabilize the region. He reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to play its role as an honest and sincere mediator and facilitator to promote peace and stability.

Iranian Interior Minister Iskandar Momeni thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the warm welcome and conveyed goodwill and best wishes from the Iranian leadership. The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to regional peace, security, and stability.
