Umar Ameen Gandapur wins city mayor election with huge margin

Dera Ismail Khan– Pakistan Tehreak e Insaf (PTI)  candidate Umar Ameen Gandapur have won the seat of Dera Ismail Khan City Mayor.

According to unofficial results, Ali Ameen Gandapur bagged 63,753 votes while JUI’s candidate Kafeel Nizami got 38,891 votes. PPP’s candidate Faisal Kundi was on third position with 32,738.
Voting turn out remained 45.57 percent.

On the other hand, according to unofficial results, JUI candidate Zubair Ali won the seat of Peshwar mayor.
According to unofficial results, Ali Ameen Gandapur received 63,753 votes while JUI candidate Kafeel Nizami received 38,891 votes. PPP candidate Faisal Kundi came in third with 32,738.
Turnout remained at 45.57%. Meanwhile, PTI candidate Anayat Khattak won from Banda Dawood Shah, according to unofficial results.
Also, according to the unofficial results, the candidate of Bara JUI was successful while the candidate of Jahangira PTI emerged as the winner.
According to unofficial results, PTI candidates won in Domail and independent candidates won elections in Takht E Nasrati. According to unofficial results, JUI’s candidate won the seat of Chairman Tehsil Baka Khail. Local body elections are held in 13 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
