” Moment, Vice President Harris tested positive for COVID-19 on rapid-fire and PCR tests. She has displayed no symptoms, will insulate and continue to work from the vice chairman’s hearthstone,” said Harris’ press clerk, Kirsten Allen.
“She has not been a close contact to the chairman or first lady due to their separate recent trip schedules,” Allen said, adding that Harris would” return to the White House when she tests negative.”
Harris, 57, is the rearmost in a rash of cases sweeping through the Washington nobility.

As infections from the malign, but dramatically less dangerous, Omicron variant of the coronavirus mount, the White House has intimately vented the possibility of the 79- time-old Biden testing positive — while de-emphasizing any implicit fallout.
“It’s clearly possible that he’ll test positive for COVID, and he’s vaccinated, he’s boosted and defended from the most severe strains of the contagion, “White House dispatches director Kate Bedingfield said before this month.
High-profile cases in Washington lately include White House press clerk Jen Psaki, who contracted COVID in March and also last time, as well as House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who comes after Harris in the line of the race to the administration.
In October 2020, before vaccines were available, also chairman Donald Trump spent three days in the sanitarium entering exigency treatment for Covid-19, which he’d told Americans wasn’t a peril.
