USC: Corruption unveiled in PM’s Ramazan Package

Shocking revelations have emerged regarding rampant corruption within the Prime Minister’s Ramazan Relief Package at the Utility Stores.

Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain suspended several officers of the Utility Stores Corporation.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Industries said that several officers were found involved in corruption and a strict action will be taken against them. He added that investigation is being conducted against these officers in different zones.

Earlier, USC Multan Regional Manager Chaudhary Sajjad Hussain claimed that relief package was underway successfully across the region. He added that over 2,58,247 customers visited the stores so far to avail the subsidy during holy month of Ramazan.

The official said that USC had achieved about 80 percent sale target so far across the region.
