Watch: Israeli forces enter Al-Aqsa Mosque compound

In another act of brutality, Israeli soldiers stormed into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem as Palestinians performed evening prayers.

Though, no clashes have been reported so far, but the act left caused fear among the people present in compound for prayers.

The development comes after Hamas called for a “large mobilization” on Friday to resist Israeli restrictions at the Al-Aqsa compound during the holy month of Ramadan.

The statement was issued via telegram, where senior Hamas member Abdul Rahman Shadid urged people of Palestine not to surrender to the expected restrictions of the occupation and to confront them with all our strength.

Tensions were raised at Al-Aqsa Mosque, with concerns over further unrest in the coming days.
