In a significant diplomatic development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss the escalating crisis in the Middle East. During the call, Prime Minister Sharif expressed deep concern over the rising tensions in the region, highlighting the need for immediate action to avoid further instability.
“Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his growing concern regarding the escalating crisis in the Middle East, emphasizing the urgency of diplomatic interventions,” according to official statements from the Prime Minister’s office.
Sharif also informed President Erdogan about his recent engagements with leaders from Gulf countries, aimed at exploring potential solutions to the ongoing tensions. “The Prime Minister briefed President Erdogan on the efforts to engage with Gulf leaders to seek a peaceful resolution,” the statement added.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to playing a constructive role in resolving the crisis. Prime Minister Sharif affirmed Pakistan’s readiness to contribute positively to the stabilization of the region.
