Israel Violates Lebanon Ceasefire, Targets Southern Areas
The Israeli military continues to violate the Lebanese ceasefire as its forces targeted several areas in southern Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire, according to Arab TV.
In this regard, Lebanese officials said that 40,000 homes were either completely destroyed or severely damaged in Israeli attacks before the ceasefire. A French soldier from the UN peacekeeping mission was also killed in the Israeli attack on Lebanon.
Meanwhile, one Israeli soldier was killed and more than 9 others were injured during clashes in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army says that one of the 9 injured soldiers is in critical condition.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the ceasefire violation and said that attacks on peacekeepers are unacceptable. This is the third incident of martyrdom of peacekeepers in Lebanon in recent weeks. These attacks must stop, and the parties must cease hostilities.
Arab media further reported that Israel has created a self-imposed yellow line inside Lebanon. The destruction of homes, shelling, and machine gun fire continue in Lebanese villages. A similar yellow line was created in Gaza.
