Iran Says No Plan for Second Round Talks With US

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that Iran has no plans to participate in the second round of talks with the United States yet. We have informed Pakistan of the US violations.

During the press briefing, Esmail Baghaei said that the US has been violating the ceasefire since the beginning of the day, that the US is busy making accusations instead of taking positive steps, and that the US is not serious about negotiations.

Esmail Baghaei said that the US tried to blame us for ceasefire violations; Washington’s diplomacy is inconsistent and based on accusations. If the US and Israel want to start a war, we are ready.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the US position and demands keep changing, which is an obstacle to negotiations. The US and Israel are responsible for what is happening in the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian forces will respond to any foolish action by the US forces.

He further said that the US is still insisting on unrealistic demands and the US violated the ceasefire by continuing the naval blockade; it is in the interest of the international community to hold the US and Israel accountable for their crimes. Europe has not taken a clear position on war crimes in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran; we are grateful to Russia and China for their responsible stance.
