Prince Harry Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Sir David Attenborough at 100

Prince Harry has paid a special compliment to well-known British broadcaster Sir David Attenborough‘s 100th birthday.

Harry wrote a special and heartwarming essay to devoted the natural historian, also called as “Voice of Nature” for over seventy years of documenting the beauty and intricacies of nature

By calling the broadcaster a secular saint, Harry wrote, “For almost anyone who grew up in the United Kingdom, Sir David Attenborough is more than a broadcaster; he is a secular saint.

​“He is an institutional pillar as essential to the national fabric as a cup of tea.”

​Prince Harry also praised Sir David for his extraordinary storytelling and for his contributions to protecting nature, “He has earned the world’s trust by simply showing us that our environment is worth appreciating. He didn’t demand our attention, but drew us in with the wonder of nature all the same.”

​He continued, “When a man who has quite literally seen it all begins to describe the loss of the planet’s stability, he isn’t being provocative. He is reporting from the front lines of a planet he has known longer, and more intimately, than almost anyone alive.”

The duke also mentioned that Sir David not only have a strong connection with senior audience, as well as successfully bridged the gap with younger audiences.

For those who not know about with the life and legacy of Sir David Attenborough, he is an English broadcaster, natural historian, conservationist, writer, producer and narrator, born May 8th, 1926 in Isleworth, United Kingdom.
