On Thursday night saw Prince William go through every emotion as he made a surprise appearance to cheer on his beloved football team.
Prince of Wales was seen to celebrated a 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest, which secured a 4-1 aggregate win and a spot in the final against Freiburg on May 20.
From the beginning of the match, the future king appeared more tranquil, but instantly got into the swipe of things! He couldn’t hold back his emotions as he celebrated their goal, embracing his fellow onlookers in a hug.
Back in 2015 William told Gary Lineker the reason behind his support to the team, he said, “A long time ago at school, I got into football big time. I was looking around for clubs. All my friends at school were either Man United fans or Chelsea fans and I didn’t want to follow the run-of-the-mill teams.”
“I wanted to have a team that was more mid-table that could give me more emotional rollercoaster moments. Aston Villa’s always had a great history.”
William’s 12-year-old son, Prince George, seems to be following in his footsteps, though last May William revealed that eight-year-old Prince Louis “supports about five football teams.”

It is not yet known whether the prince will travel to Istanbul for the final later this month.
