WHO Head Warns of Hanta Virus Widespread

The World Health Organization Head has warned all the countries to be ready for more “Hanta Virus Cases” after the outbreak onboard the MV Hondius, and thanked Spain for the “Solidarity and Efforts” it has delivered by keeping a track in the effected ship and helping its passengers and crew survive.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus the WHO Head emphasized authorities to follow the WHO’s advice and recommendations, which include a 42-day quarantine and constant monitoring of high-risk contacts. Researches still on-going as to stop the spread of the virus and how it originated.
“At the moment, there is less sign that we are seeing the start of a larger outbreak, but of course the situation could change and, given the long incubation period of the virus, it’s possible we might see more cases in the coming weeks,” he expressed at a press conference in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday evening.
