Sources Claims Eleven Vessels Passed Through Former US Naval Blockade Following Agreement

Eleven Iranian vessels have successfully transited waters previously affected by a U.S. naval blockade, according to an informed source cited by Iranian state broadcaster Press TV.
The source said that eight ships sailed through international waters after departing Iranian territorial waters, while three additional vessels entered Iranian waters after the blockade was reportedly lifted under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) reached between Tehran and Washington.
Earlier this week, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) announced that Iranian and U.S. negotiators had finalized the text of an agreement aimed at ending hostilities between the two countries. According to the SNSC statement, the memorandum calls for an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations involving the United States and Israel across multiple fronts, including Lebanon, and provides for the termination of the naval blockade imposed on Iran.
The council stated that the agreement was achieved following what it described as extensive and intensive negotiations. Iranian officials credited the country’s leadership, public support, and armed forces for the outcome of the talks.
